Viennese overview

Are you visiting Vienna for the first time and want to get an overview of the city center?

Then this overview tour of the city center is just the right thing for you. You will gain an insight into the city’s 2,000-year history. We start right in the centre at the Gothic heart of the city, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, discover Roman remains on Michaelerplatz, visit the white stallions called Lipizzaner, follow in the footsteps of the Habsburgs through the Hofburg and end at the State Opera.

Start: at St Stephen’s Cathedral, opposite the main entrance, at the Lindt shop/corner of Jasomirgottstraße, Stephansplatz 8A, 1010 Vienna (U1/U3 Stephansplatz)

End: Albertina, Albertinaplatz 1 with a view of the State Opera House (U1/U4 Karlsplatz).
